Alien Races:
Eldar and Dark Eldar: These came to Logan's World some 900 years ao when their craft ship, torn apart by civil war, landed on the surface. Since then they have split into several smaller clans and continue their war. Imperial forces have limited dealings with the Eldar; relations are considered neutral at best. It is rumored that several of the Imperial houses in Aquilla have dealings with numerous Eldar Clans. House Drake's ruler Baron Alexander Drake is rumored to have a child, Lady Miranda, by an Eldar Mistress. The dark Eldar are the sworn enemies of the empire and are destroyed whenever they or their strongholds are encountered.
Orks: This race has been on Logan's World for several thousand years; their clans are scattered across the surface. They are considered hostile for the most part; they attack Imperial outposts and convoys. They are also said to be vicious slavers. Several Ork clans however do trade with humans in the FreeCity HellsReach. They often hire themselves out as mercenaries for the right price. They trade for and sell their slaves in HellsReach as well.
Squats: These sturdy dwarves serve as miners and mechanical engineers. They are the backbone of the Mining and Mechanical Guilds. They also are sworn enemies of the Orks and Dark Eldar and will fight them whenever possible. Relations between Squats and Eldar are considered to be cold.
Vroc: This race of bird-like creatures, native to this world, is rarely seen outside of their territories. These are areas forbidden to all others, according to Imperial Law. It is said they were once a highly advanced race but something struck them down and laid their once-great cities to waste. They are strange creatures who know the surface of Logan's World better than any others. Vroc often hire themselves out as guides when they can be found. They seem amused by humans and express great sadness around Eldar. Vroc have no love for Orks or Dark Eldar and will attack either without provacation when encountered in their territories. It is rumored that the Vroc know some secret about this world and share the information with few.  Of those that know this secret some are changed for life, but many go insane and die horrible deaths out in the wastes of the Dune Seas.
