Are you ready to do your part?

Alright boys and girls, strap on your anime armor, and computer designed anti-bug spray and lets go! Our friends Rico, Dizzy, and Razak (however you spell that!) from Starship Troopers the movie are back in the bugs way again. This time thanks to the wonderful computer graphics design people, no one has to wear any funky gadgets to show their arm is missing, they are just drawn that way. I really liked this anime. The graphics were tremendous (of course), the plot was intriguing (well...anyway), and the action scenes were deliciously horrible.

Basically the research outpost on Pluto has been overrun by those nasty overgrown cockroach/daddy longlegs, and the wonderful Mobile Infantry has been dispatched. Of course they thought they knew all there was to know about these bugs. It wouldn't be a very interesting movie if they actually did. Those damned fliers prove them wrong tho. Those suckers are hard to kill!

Along with those infinitely entertaining "commercial" clips (the guy hanging off the wall that chunks the hand grenade over his head is my fave), some massive firepower, a Butt Plasma Bug, and a moron Intelligence Officer, Razak's Roughnecks manage to fight their way through to "Bug City" where they discover that Pluto is the least of their worries. It's exciting, and a bit nasty, so I won't spoil the prize. Go right out and buy this one folks. It's a keeper. So I guess I forgive you Sensual Simian, this one more than makes up for Wings of Mayonnaise.
